Barron’s Watchlist- Sun, Mar. 17th, 2013
After reading through this week’s Barron’s issue I didn’t find many good charts to make it to my watchlist. Here are the few that did:
The Cover Story. The article talks talks about a different way of trading in Emerging Markets, rather than just longing the Index (EEM), which is skewed and doesn’t properly reflect the overall health of the market.
The one problem with focusing on particular EM countries or sectors is that the ETF’s are still mostly illiquid and the best way to invest in them is to purchase mutual funds.
Here are the the few ETF’s that have enough for me to trade:
Has been uptrending August 2012 & has not seen a lower low since. Can long on throwbacks, with a stop below 39.12 (the recent low).
100-day SMA + Ascending Trendline Supports. Stop below 69.63. Long at a price level on your own discretion, just make sure you set stop below recent low of 69.63 & make sure the reward is worth it.
Weekly Chart. Look to long at new highs, above 35.16. Would not pull trigger early, unless other price patterns begin to form.
Weekly Chart. Frontier Market. Coming off of Extreme RSI Reading, but has set higher peaks and troughs.

Waiting for break of Relative Strength trendline + bullish price action before thinking reversal.

I see positive RSI Divergence. Wait for price to confirm reversal. One spot to watch is the horizontal resistance line. Also watch for +DI to cross over -DI line.

A new stock to watch, wait for further throwback. Good stop would be below 31.86 (blue horizontal trendline)
